Privacy & Verification

Mangga.app offers two phone verification methods for business accounts:

  • WhatsApp Verification - Optional verification using WhatsApp Business API (requires explicit consent)
  • SMS Verification - Traditional SMS verification (always available as alternative)

Phone verification is optional but recommended for enhanced account security and customer trust.

WhatsApp verification is completely optional and requires your explicit consent:

  • You must voluntarily provide your mobile phone number
  • You must confirm you wish to receive verification messages via WhatsApp
  • We use WhatsApp Business API in compliance with Meta's policies
  • Verification codes are automatically deleted after 24 hours
  • SMS verification is always available as an alternative

Identity verification is an optional service that enhances trust between businesses and customers:

  • Purpose: Provides additional verification beyond email confirmation
  • Process: Secure $6 card payment processed by Stripe
  • Benefits: Enhanced credibility and customer trust
  • Security: Payment verification helps prevent fraudulent accounts

The $6 fee covers payment processing costs and helps maintain platform security. No card details are stored by Mangga.app.

We collect minimal data necessary for platform functionality:

Required Data:

  • Email address (for account creation and notifications)
  • Business name and description
  • Date of birth (minimum age 16 required)

Optional Data:

  • Phone number (for verification and enhanced security)
  • Business address and contact details
  • Social media links (only displayed for Gold/Diamond tier users)

Data retention varies by type and purpose:

  • Verification codes: Automatically deleted after 24 hours
  • Account data: Retained while your account is active
  • Business profiles: Retained for service provision
  • Payment records: Retained for legal and tax compliance (typically 7 years)
  • Consent records: Retained for compliance and audit purposes

You can request data deletion by contacting support@mangga.app. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

Yes, you own the commercial rights to AI-generated images created through Mangga.app:

  • Images are generated privately using our paid Leonardo.ai subscription
  • You retain full ownership and commercial rights to your generated images
  • You can use images for business promotion, marketing, and commercial purposes
  • Images are stored securely in your private business profile

Important: AI-generated images are artistic representations and may not accurately depict your actual services. They should be used for promotional purposes only.

Billing is straightforward and flexible:

Billing Cycles:

  • Monthly subscriptions: Billed every month
  • Annual subscriptions: Billed yearly (save ~17%)
  • Silver tier: Always free, no billing

Cancellation:

  • Cancel anytime through your account dashboard
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • Continue using paid features until period ends
  • Automatic downgrade to Silver tier after cancellation

Upgrades/Downgrades:

  • Upgrades take effect immediately with pro-rata billing
  • Downgrades take effect at next billing cycle

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your payment information.

Our AI image generation system offers comprehensive customization:

Image Styles & Models:

  • Multiple AI models including "Standard - balanced" (default)
  • Professional, high-quality business-focused imagery
  • Customizable text colors and positioning

Keyword System:

  • 6 themed categories with 40 keywords each
  • Up to 10 keyword selections per image
  • Keywords displayed under generated images for transparency

Generation Limits:

  • Silver: 2 images per generation, 5 total tries
  • Gold/Platinum/Diamond: 4 images per generation
  • Higher tier users get more generation attempts

All images include discount percentage and duration information as specified in your story.

The Premium chat feature allows client users to communicate directly with businesses:

Chat Features:

  • Real-time messaging between Premium clients and businesses
  • 200-character message limit for concise communication
  • Mobile-first design optimized for quick conversations
  • Accessible from business story pages and profiles

Important Limitations:

  • 24-hour deletion policy: All chat conversations are automatically deleted exactly 24 hours after they start
  • Non-recoverable: Once deleted, conversations cannot be restored or recovered
  • Premium requirement: Only Premium client users can initiate chats
  • No file sharing: Text messages only, no images or attachments

Save Important Information: If you need to keep important details from a conversation, save them locally before the 24-hour deletion period expires.

Always provide accurate service descriptions in your business profile text to complement the AI-generated imagery.

Platform Role:

Mangga.app is a connection facilitator only. We do not provide, guarantee, or take responsibility for the actual services offered by businesses.

We do not guarantee:

  • Booking confirmations: Businesses may not respond to booking enquiries
  • Service quality: Quality and delivery of services is the business's responsibility
  • Scheduling accuracy: Appointment times and availability are managed by individual businesses
  • Advertised discounts: Discount validity and terms are determined by each business
  • Business response times: Communication speed varies by business

Your responsibility: Always confirm service details, pricing, and availability directly with the business before making commitments.

Our verification process has specific scope and limitations:

What We Verify:

Customer responsibility: Always conduct your own due diligence when selecting service providers. Check credentials, reviews, and qualifications independently.

Mangga.app facilitates connections but is not responsible for service delivery disputes:

  • Facilitate initial contact between customers and businesses
  • Maintain basic verification standards (email, optional phone/identity)

In Case of Disputes:

  • Contact the business directly to resolve issues
  • Report serious misconduct to support@mangga.app
  • Consider local consumer protection agencies for legal remedies
  • Leave honest feedback to help other customers

We may remove businesses that consistently receive reports of misconduct, but we cannot provide refunds or compensation for service disputes.

Yes, our liability is limited in accordance with UK/EU consumer protection laws:

AI image generation depends on Leonardo.ai's service availability:

  • Existing stories and images remain accessible
  • Story creation without images may still be possible
  • Generation attempts are not deducted during outages

We choose reliable AI partners but cannot control external service availability. Alternative image options may be considered for future updates.
